Solution accelerators help UiPath customers on the AI journey

One of the challenges confronting businesses today is how to leverage artificial intelligence tools to realize a meaningful impact on results.

UiPath Inc. recently integrated new generative AI capabilities into its business automation platform, and it has published a set of automation frameworks, called solution accelerators, to help customers achieve faster time to value for automation programs.

“We’re working on industry use cases to make sure that people can envisage for their industry the top five to ten use cases that automation and AI can be applied to and how they can learn from that as well,” said Kelly Ducourty (pictured), chief customer officer of UiPath. “We’ve got 60 [solution accelerators] so far that are published on our marketplace, and they really help customers get started. Some of our customers have said that by using them they’ve shortened the implementation time from maybe weeks down to just a couple of days.”

Ducourty spoke with theCUBE industry analysts Dave Vellante and Rebecca Knight at the UiPath FORWARD VI event, during an exclusive broadcast on theCUBE, SiliconANGLE Media’s livestreaming studio. They discussed how UiPath is working on a number of AI initiatives to improve business time to value. (* Disclosure below.)

Speeding content generation

UiPath has been a leading player in the AI field for a number of years through its deployment of robotic process automation tools for use by businesses to reduce both operational mistakes and cost. The company has been focused on providing tools to help speed content generation for customers, according to Ducourty.

“We’ve been launching some new sales plays for the second half here now…using some of the AI technologies to help us generate content in a [quicker] manner and also training our own models so we can build our content in the future,” Ducourty said. “Being able to move more quickly with those assets, being able to refresh things quicker as well, I think that’s a great AI use case.”

Another beneficial use case involves employing AI to improve personal productivity, which Ducourty has put to good use for herself.

“I’ve got my own personal bot who reminds me to do certain things, and we’re using it in the HR supply chain of information,” Ducourty said. “It reminds me of things like peoples’ work anniversaries, which I think is super personable. We’re not about cost savings only, it’s really about allowing people to do more interesting work.”
